You are helpful, and you are loved, and you are forgiven, and you are not alone.
I don’t know any perfect people, only really really flawed people who are still worth loving. -John Green
I relate to this quote because I think it is very important to remember that everyone is flawed. Even the people you think are perfect really aren’t, and that is an important realization. I’m sure John realized this at a young age and that he accepts people for who they are. This is definitely a quote worth living by because even if a person isn’t perfect, they are still worth living.
Interview
Interviewer: Hello, I am Sydney and I am here today with the New York Times Bestselling Author, John Green. John, how are you doing today?
John: I am doing well. I am glad to be back in Chicago again where I wrote Looking For Alaska.
Interviewer: Yes, Chicago is a wonderful city. Today I have questions that subsribers have submitted over the past week. The first question is from Maggie in New York. Maggie asks, “Do you have any siblings?”
John: Yes, I do. I have a younger brother named Hank. He is three years younger than me. He lives in Montana with his wife, Katherine. He runs the channel Vlogbrothers with me and he also has his own channel, Hankgames.
Interviewer: I am a big fan of Vlogbrothers myself. Your videos are always informative and insightful. The next question comes from Jocie in Wyoming. Jocie asks, “Are you married?”
John: Yes, I am married. My wife’s name is Sarah. I also have a son named Henry, and another child on the way. Her name is going to be either Eleanor or Alice, but we have not decided yet. I also have a dog named Willy, who I love to death.
Interviewer: Congratulations on the new baby. The final question comes from Max in Nevada. Max asks, “Where have you lived?”
John: I was born in Florida, and was raised there until I went to boarding school for high school in Alabama. After high school, I went to Ohio for college. After that, I lived in Chicago and New York until I finally settled in Indianapolis.
Interviewer: Sounds like you’ve lived in a lot of places over the years. Well, that’s all the time I have. Anything else you’d like to say?
John: Best wishes!
